Is CTF ever going to be revived? I have read a lot of posts saying that it was loads of fun... CTC isn't that fun for me.

I haven't been around long enough to play it when it was in use... do you think the devs will ever revive it?

CTF worked well in a small universe where each nation was at war with each other by default. We had scary uber bots guarding each flag that would open fire on any intruders.

Now that we have a faction standing system, you have people who are admired by all nations. CTF wouldn't work too well in this case since you would have non-KOS people waltzing right into the capital and taking the flag.

Well couldn't you set a mode (somewhat like /duel) that if you killed someone or took the flag, your standing wouldn't be affected?

CTF doesn't even come close to fitting into a MMORPG.

CTF wouldnt work, with the multiple systems belonging to a nation and a strike force, it just wouldnt work

not to mention being blasted by the SF cos you couldnt turbo while carrying the flag !!!

A CTF "racetrack" would be really cool.

Yes, the Serco apparently are into games, arena combat and such.

How about a "stadium" of sorts in Helios, where everyone can congregate and either watch or participate in a CTF game.

well you could make it a mission. All participants get temp factions and non participants can not get the flag.

there could easily be a 9 sector pyramid inside a system that was identical to the old universe and called "CTF Arena" or something. that would be pretty sweet, as soon as you enter you a transported to your nations respective home sector and let the party begin!

there could be some week long reward similar to the CtC neut III to make it worthwhile to participate, like ohhhh i don't know.....old vendetta-test Blue Ions!!! :P~~

Come on, let's convince the devs to include it!! That would make Vendetta the best game in the WORLD if it had CTF.

Using my egg-cellent brainal powers I've come up with the best, and in fact, the only viable way to re-introduce CTF into the game!
Here it goes:

Merge MD's and CrazySpence's idea.. Mission + special CTF sector

I'm all for more fun!
