pirate_n00b:

I hear the Syndicate is hiring and looking for fresh meat. Talk to [syn]n00b, Thesaadri or "0" ingame and they can perhaps help you out.

However, becoming a pirate makes you an instant "Kill-On-Sight" target for two large guilds - The Vipers and the Itani Alliance. Make sure your life insurance is paid up. :)

Perhaps let's work your way up to becoming a pirate? Try doing a little Player-vs-Player combat first to make sure you can be an effective pirate. There's nothing worse than a pirate that can't kill anyone. Not so profitable.

You could always just pirate the NPC traders.. get a behemoth with some plasma devastators and you can collect cargo and eventually make a fair profit.

*Don't* try that against players.. you'd get KOS by everyone just cause you're annoying.

pirate_noob... It seems as though you'd fit right in with Syndicate, at least name wise. And you may already have higher levels than the commander :). But, don't just jump right into it, once your a pirate, you can never go back. And with a tag of [Syn] or [BLAK] your a target by all anti-pirate players as well as the 2 guilds VPR an IA.

However, I'll be happy to present you with your pirate initiation :P

Without pirates, what are pirate-hunters for?

Representing the Syndicate, I would like to say that we *are* lookin for new members.

However, they have to have won the favor of either myself(Thesaadri), [syn]n00b, or 0 first. And even then your membership is not guaranteed. The commander and LT's reserve the right to kick anyone at any time for any reason.

[EDIT]And being Itani puts you at an inherent disadvantage over the majority of our members at the moment. It's either attack everyone with the rest or lose access to Itani special ships.

The Syndicate really is the way to go to get the real pirate experience. But yes relatively high levels and some amount of PVP experience is needed (even if you don't join the Syn)

You could always be a freelance pirate too, but otherwise the two groups would be Syndicate or BLAK. Although I haven't really seen any BLAK members around lately so you may just want to try for syn.

Oh alright. Would it be in my intrest to practice pirating Atlas's? Also would being a pretty good pirate affect my chances of being a merc also?

Step 1: Get high combat levels & practice fighting skills
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit!

hmm pirate_n00b... I think the anti-pirating pilots have all the ammunition they need.

yea. pirate atlases. Especially people who fly Atlas X's. Those are especially vulnerable and must be attacked at all costs.
