Don't tell me this is what's popular over in NL now. You guys should stick to Ali B, Blof, and Acda en de Munnik.

Heh. Old.
Doukutsu, the sung text is gibberish; just for the record.

Wrongo, tosh.
It's finnish, and the translation can be found on the Interwebs.

My bad, then. The resident IRC Fin said it was gibberish. Oh well. That's what I get for trusting IRC people ;)
The translation is here.

The reason they may have said it was gibberish is because it's in a particular dialect they may not know. (Savo, I think.)

quote:
"The intermezzo, which was used in the flash movie described below, is just phonetically inspired gibberish with some Finnish words in it. It is not the part of the original song by Eino Kettunen, but rather is introduced by Loituma.
The text of the intermezzo varies from one performance to other, and is not listed on lyrics pages. It is basically the same as scat in jazz"

That explains quite a bit.
Yeah, that explains why no translation has the intermezzo.
I'd admit I was wrong, but it goes against my grain. There to fore, the Interwebs, and by extension the world, are the ones who got it wrong. I expect a written apology by tomorrow at the latest.

Doukutsu, where are you from?
Odia.
the video of this version is just four guys fucking around, but there is a rockn' techno remix added half way through.
