ok it was a bad idea
ctc had been pretty grueling what with the new ship. everyone was complaining about it. the poor itani seemed on the edge of suicide so i decided to help them out by killing a few serc convoys.
i had made a kill of the transport. i got killed too, of course. but i was homed close, i went back. i could have sworn there was another transport... i couldnt find it. . . . so i went to try to intercept any serco transporting the cargo back to their home.
well, there i was at a serco station, with mr notorious serco in the big new ship. i was right up at the station when i saw him, and so i weaved in and out of the girders and walkways, as did he. no fire, though... was he afraid of station bots? what was going on?
well i decided to bob and weave a little more. see what he would do. he followed me. and here he was, the big notorious ship, 20m away from me... inside all these girders and structures, unable to dodge.. its huge size making it more difficult to maneouver... looking straight at me.
well it took me about 4 to 5 seconds to destroy it. it turned a little as if to try to escape, but there was just no hope. now, i can tell myself i was trying to get the CTC cargo off this guy. i can tell myself that this was the guy that just blew me up 5 minutes before. i can tell myself all sorts of things. but i have to admit there was a bit of evilness in blasting that thing to smitherenes.
sure i lost 500 serco standing. the defbots chased me, but with them being pathetically underfunded, i got away scott free.
but as i look back, i do feel a bit bad. it wasnt absolutely necessary was it? no, not really. stations should be a 'safe place' unless they are in grayspace. and what was i doing blasting someone to death who was not attacking me at the moment? if it was a sport, and it was, it felt like bad sportsmanship.

right. But please do not complain that Serco grief you tomorrow.
If you meet another player in protected space and stand still at about 20m or so face to face, this is commonly a sign for no hostility and an invite to talk. I bet the Serco player just opened the chatbox to ask you what you want as you opened fire.
