Serco Military Awards Recognition
THE SERCO DEFENSIVE CROSS
The Serco Defensive Cross was commissioned in Earth Year 4431 to recognize those Serco pilots who go above and beyond the call of duty, risking life and limb in defense of the Dominion. The SDC was commissioned by the Serco Defense Force, and is awarded only by the Commanding Officer of the SDF, based on recommendations from SDF Squadron Commanders.
The Serco Defensive Cross has two attachments that may be awarded in addition to the medal itself. The first is the V pin, awarded for uncommon valor in combat, usually involved in destroying large numbers of enemy fighter squadrons or capital ships. The second award is the Gold Wings awarded to those pilots who provide outstanding cover fire to allied pilots, allowing them to reach their objective capital ships and destroy them.
For the first time since 2004, the SDF is awarding their medal to 3 pilots of the Serco Military for service in the Deneb Campaign.
1: sh4dowkhas - Serco Defensive Cross with V for Valor
-sh4dowkhas, a recent recruit into the larger war effort displayed gallantry above and beyond the call of duty when braving enemy fire to deliver a weapons payload to the IDV Onus, an Itani Heavy Assault Cruiser (HAC). Sh4dowkhas maneuvered through squadrons of enemy fighters and braved fire from Itani capital ships to bring victory in yet another engagement of the ongoing Deneb Campaign.
2: Viper88 - Serco Defensive Cross with V for Valor & Gold Wings
-Viper88 distinguished himself during a skirmish in the Deneb Campaign when he single-handedly engaged and destroyed an Itani fighter squadron, providing an opening for Serco Prometheus’ and Ragnoroks from the SDF to penetrate the Itani defenses and deliver missile and rocket payloads on the Itani capital ships, destroying them.
3: secoasx - Serco Defensive Cross with Gold Wings
-Secoasx proved to be an instrumental asset in the Deneb Campaign when, supporting SCAR & SDF pilots, he helped provide Serco forces cover by engaging and defeating a series of Itani fighters in a running engagement that allowed Black 1 to fire on and destroy the IDV Jann, an Itani Heavy Assault Frigate (HAC).
4: Unit Citation - SkyCommand Assault Regiment (SCAR)
-The SkyCommand Assault Regiment receives the first Defense Unit Citation awarded by the Serco Defense Force for their continued willingness to fight and die to defeat the Itani on all fronts.
SCAR forces have recently engaged in the Deneb Campaign, as well as being leaders in border protection by engaging Itani fighters while on patrol in Deneb. For the unit’s continued bravery, the SDF has commissioned a unit ribbon that all SCAR members will be awarded for the duration of their service with SCAR, or until the unit citation is not renewed or is revoked.

It's pretty clear that the guild to which I belonged has nothing in common with the pack of incompetent swine that currently bears the [SCAR] tag. In fact, acronym aside, they don't even share a name.
And since the guild's transformation into a backboneless version of its former self, I have personally verified time and again that its members are exceedingly good at dying. Hence my comment, my earlier rank in a wholly different organization notwithstanding.
