Ship log July.24.4435
Hunting the Hive-Dau B3-Followed the Orun to B3 to flush out the queen and possibly aquire hive-posi or hive-gat. Engaged queen escorts at 2200m. Made it through the escorts with my X1 with 25% hull integrity left. Quick flyby on the queen reveals something out of the ordinary, her port side armor bears the insignia of CLM but it is quite old and not the same marker as the current pirates I encounter are useing. I will check it out when I return with my rag.
Hunting the Hive-Dau L10-Arrived at UIT capital to load my rag with 3 sunflares, 1 chaos swarm, and 1 mega-posi. Asked around about the old CLM insignia but noone seemed to know much about it. I was told not to go digging around in CLM business unless I was willing to part with my life as well as my cargo. So I left it at that, returned to my rag and launched to go shoot down this queen.
Hunting the Hive-Dau B3-Returned to B3 to find the lumbering queen still floating around aimlessly. I approached her port side to inspect the insignia again. My ships lights reveal that it is not part of her armor but simply a globe shaped hunk of metal imbedded in her side, I will search her wreckage for it when I am done. **FIRE** I released the full volleys from my launchers and quenched her shields in a matter of seconds this time it didn't take my full arsenal to do it, heh I must be getting better, so I chip away at her for another 5 minutes or so with my mega-posi until ultimately she blows up. Damn I was too close, her explosion knocked my rags hull down to 7% but I do see the cargo.
*1-Hive-posi *2cu-scrap metal *1-large golden sphere
Upon picking up the cargo I turn to leave the sector when my proximity warning goes off, it's green, I get the target in site to see who it is. CLM Space Cowboy? what's he doing here.
"Release the map and you may live to fight another day"
was all I heard as he sped towards me. Luckily I was at range and was able to get out of the area before he reduced my ship to scrap metal.
Running-Dau L10-I docked safely back at Dau L10 with CLM Space Cowboy right behind me. I jumped from my slow-as-mud rag and back into my X1 loaded it with my new Hive-posi and I placed the golden sphere(map?) in its small hold and launched in persuit of safer space to examine my new found treasure.
(guild)Dau L10 Elbryon-Anybody out there I need some assistance.
(guild)Jallik E15 drazed-what do you need Elby
(guild)Dau L10 Elbryon-CLM Space Cowboy is hot on my tail and he's not giveing up.Apparently I have something he wants.
(guild)Jallik E15 drazed-well head this way and try not to get killed I'll see if I can intercept
Running-Dau O6-After that transmission I jumped to O6 and the wormhole hopeing to get away with my new found treasure. I was just about to enter the wh when my proximity alarm beeped at me twice so I checked my sensor log to see if it was friendly or otherwise. Not good CLM Space Cowboy and CLM TheBlackFlag.
"Release the map and you may live to fight another day, run again and you WILL be hunted"
was all I heard as I jumped out.
This was going to be a long trip. I hope I get some help soon because apparently I have something that CLM wants really bad. That's two pirates on my tail in one sector, not good odds.
Meeting-Jallik E15-Sitting in the bar I showed drazed the sphere. "Hey, drazed look what I found."
What did I get myself into.......As if CLM needed another reason to hunt me......

It was a long night hiding out in Jallik Watch, but with CLM so close to this route hunting down our xith transports I didn't want to risk running into one and loseing the globe(map) before I figured out what it was and why they were after it.
Another thing that has been bothering me since then is, how did CLM even know that I had found the globe(map) I didn't announce it over the com bot. That will be something I need to find out also.
*Launch*
My proximity sensor pings twice as I launched from the station so I quickly checked my radar and find that it was just the station gaurds that set it off. Man this thing is making me jumpy I either have to get rid of it or figure out what I need to do with it. My next plan of action is to head to Itan J-11 and present my questions to he Itani high council enough of them are retired combat pilots maybe they have heard of something about this artifact before.
I finally make the 3000m mark and hit the jump to the divinia worm hole. With the X1 set on auto I sit back in my chair and continue examineing the globe. All around the outside are markings that I don't recognize, some raised, some inset, all of varied textures. The CLM insignia looks oddly unwelcome on its golden surface but after inspection it seems to belong there.
As I sat mulling over the globe I entered the Divinia worm hole sector and my radar pings at me again, being in nation space I assumed it to be just another convoy, but it wasn't. This time I just happened to catch the xith convoy hitting the sector. I thought to myself how banged up that seipos transport was and how it must have hit a storm or two on the way up from Bractus, boy was I wrong.
I had just settled back into my chair when my radar pinged again assumeing it to be part of the convoy I didn't even check my radar this time. I was almost to the worm hole when over the com I hear,
<100>CLM look...no hands- Ha, I knew I'd stumble across you eventually, coward, now drop the globe and be on your way.I will only give this warning one time.
With that he laid a few shots across my windshield only grazeing me once so I slowed to a stop. When I pulled him up in my sights I could see that the ship he was flying was pretty beaten up from chaseing the xith convoy. Even hurt I knew he was a formitable adversary as I had met him in combat more than once, with mixed results, but I wasn't about to let him have the globe. I reasoned if CLM wanted it it was either worth a butt load of credits or held their secrets barried within its golden exterior. Either way look...no hands wasn't getting it from me.
Since I had stopped all momentum he was just sitting there 250m in front of me awaiting my response which came in a quick left strafe and hard spin as I fired my flare and neuts directly in his face. Since he wasn't expecting that I hit him squarely and exploded his ship instantly leaving nothing but scap metal and a fast charge battery.
I wasn't going to wait around to pick either of them up I hit the Divinia worm hole. I figure my best bet is to head to Itan to Armand's Dilligence and ask the itani high council about the globe.
Just as I cleared the worm hole into divinia I got a message over my private radio....
*CLM look...no hands* You got lucky that time Elbryon
*Elbryon* How do you figure it was luck it was superior firepower that won for me
*CLM look...no hands* No, you were lucky I wasn't after you. It was my luck that I happened to find you. Next time it won't be that way, now we are hunting you. You have something that belongs to us and we want it back. Don't think that just because you are in itani space you are safe, we have our ways to get to you.

Mystic was excited and a bit perturbed by the report in front of her. Intel had filtered in recently of possible locations of an information sphere that belonged to CLM. The sphere had been missing since long before she had even became part of the guild. She had of course heard the stories, the sphere contained valuable information regarding the whereabouts of a treasure of sorts. All the information had been passed down from commander to commander since shortly after the inception of CLM.
The map had been lost during an ion storm, the pilot had it in his hold while mapping coordinates to the actual treasure. During the storm he had encountered rogue hive bots and ended up back at the base in his escape pod, minus the sphere. CLM had tried going back to that area time and again, but had never been fortunate enough to find it. It had been assumed that it had been integrated by the bots as was their wont. Pilots were always on the look-out and seemed it had been seen in a sector with a hive queen recently. Problem was, an itani pilot had gotten to the queen before CLM could.
Elbryon wasn't just any pilot however, he was a newly elected council member of ITAN. Not that that changed much. ITAN was not an ally, quite the opposite. The problem was that there wasn't enough information on him yet. Mystic wasn't sure what the best course of action was at the moment. When Cowboy had notified her about what was going on, she sent out feelers. They had yet to pan out anything she could use.
She planned on talking to yoda as soon as they had the chance, since they had squared things between them it was much better, but with them running two different guilds, it wasn't as easy as it had once been. He was following his serco roots, something he was good at and she wished him the best, but that didn't help with her current dilemma. They would get the sphere back, no doubt, but as to exactly the way to go about it...she would have to wait and see how things developed.

I awoke to the sound of my comms unit beeping away, an unread message on my backup unit. I carelessly rolled off my hammock to the floor with a powerful thud, empty roid rammers falling off me to the floor rolling across the room. After a few minutes I managed to stagger to the comms unit over piles of old take out boxes cases of various beverages and other litter. I checked the message left to me by "pilot x", one line it read "Elbryon has the sphere." I blinked hard a few times hoping to erase the strangely familiar message, no luck. Curious about the strange message I poorly typed out an inquiry to Mystic about it hoping she would know more about it and returned to my now bottle free hammock to go back to sleep. Somewhere I know I heard of that thing before but the memory is kinda blurry, hopefully with some sleep it will come back to me.

(Group)Deneb O-3 Otto Lambergen: Well, you heard him, we need to go help!
I awoke with a slight headache and two buzzing comms units, one in my pocket and one on the table across the room. The message was from a slightly annoyed MysticRogue, "Thats what you spent most of yesterday trying to recover, don't you remember?" I played back my room's security footage, looks like I woke up after drinking myself to sleep and answered my backup comms not remembering at the time what I had done all day. The guild message board showed nothing requiring my immediate attention so I headed down to the guild commissary to stock up on snacks for todays flights. Chips, sandwiches, ramen, beer, and coffee packed into my Orion Hornet I headed out to try and track down that globe.
I had warped to an empty sector shortly after hearing Otto inform me that he and Foo Fighter were on the way but I had no way to communicate with them as one of LNH neutron blasts had disabled my comm unit. I guess I was just hopeing that on the way to Itan I would run across them....
I met Otto and Foo just as I cleared the worm hole to Itan space, apparently they were really in a hurry to catch me as they didn't notice I had entered the sector until I hailed them over the sector band on my patched up comm.
<sector>Elbryon-Otto, Foo I made it this far but I don't know if I was followed. I ran into look...no hands in Divinia and have been avoiding trade routes ever since.
<sector>Foo Fighter-I will continue on and make sure you weren't followed
<sector>Elbryon-ok
<sector>Otto Lambergen-I will escort you to Armand's Diligence then and hope we can make it.
I was not surprised that we made it to the station what with the new defense turrets in service.
I docked in the capital and quickly disembarked from my ship because I was sure that this globe could bring nothing but pain to anyone around it.
The hallways were packed tight with diplomats and ladies of court, none of which payed me any mind. I straightened my uniform as well as I could as I approached the council anti-chamber before I opened the door.
"Welcom Elbryon, I understand you have something that you need us to examine." was the first thing I heard as I entered the room. I explained everything that I knew to the 9 council members that were assembled.
The 9 council members passed the globe back and forth for nearly 3 hours as I sat and watched. When it was finally over I was given an explaination of what they knew. This is as close as I can remember,
"The item you now carry was once the possestion of a long dead CLM commander who, at the pinnacle of the war between the Itani and Serco, had aquired much wealth pirateing the supply lines of both sides. His hoard had gotten so great he could no longer sell it for enough profits to make it worth his while. He decided to hide it until such time as he could make substancial profit from its sale. This globe was created as a means for him to be able to find his hoard when the time came. As the war raged on and new technologies were developed the prices never reached the potential he imagined. In the twilight years of his life he planned for the globe to be passed down to future commanders of CLM, with instructions on where and what the map led to, so they could cash in on his treasure and use the hiding place much as he had.
As you can see it never made it to the next commander. The story goes that while on the way to Sedina he encountered an ion storm where he was accosted by various hive assault bots. His ship was destroyed and the scraps left behind were assimilated into the hive, unfortunately, along with the globe. This is why you found it embedded in the queen.
He searched for it for many years, and was sure he was only missing it by a system or two. He persued the hive endlessly killing any and all queens he was able to find. His days merged together seamlessly as he hunted those bots and because of this he lost everything that he held onto includeing his post as commander of CLM. Finally, to old to fly anymore, he spent his time in Sedina studying flight logs and various hive reports hopeing to find any clue that he could use to find his map. His life ended one Saturday morning, his throat slit by a young serco pilot hell bent on solidifying his position as CLM's new commander. Needless to say much information about the mere existance of the globe and what it hid were lost with his final breath.
The only clue we can give to its whereabouts is that this first symbol in the raised area points you back to Sedina. We can only assume that as you approach this first sector the next location should reveal itself."
As you can guess that is not what I wanted to hear. So now I guess my path leads back to Sedina, their home, the hornets nest.

It had been a couple days since I had seen Elbryon. I had manged to bang him up a bit but lost him when his jump into Itani space had given him too much of a head start. Now the hours ticked by as I monitored the Edras worm hole to Itani space. The snacks and beer had run out nearly a day ago, now the coffee was all gone. I could do without food for a while. I could do without sleep or even beer for a while, but not coffee. The cafeene was the only thing that had kept me awake, my right eyelid was 3/4 closed and twitching, my left was wide open. I felt myself drifting off to sleep so I shook my head to try and keep awake. Another couple minutes later the cycle would repeat itself. Two hours later I couldn't take it anymore, I grabbed the emergency medical pack from under the seat and gave myself a dose of epinephrine, that should keep me awake long enough to call backup and return to base. I sent out a call on guild chat asking if anybody could come watch for Elbryon for me. A couple minutes later Space Cowboy answered saying he could keep an eye on it for a few hours while I rest. As soon as he entered the sector I sent him five hundred thousand credits with a message; "That should cover any expenses that come up, as well as the cargo you'd otherwise be stealing". Cowboy somewhat stunned by the lump of cash said nothing till I had reached Odia, finally replied "WOW, thanks, when will you be back?". Sloppily I hammered out a reply "nto to long maybee fiour or five hours". At last I had reached my room, I stumbled over to my hammock that served as a bed, landing across it so that both my legs and head hung over the edge I fell fast asleep.
I threw my council robes in the back of my valkyrie and jettisoned from the bay, ready to escort Elbryon to CLM territory, most of ITAN that was online at that time were congregated outside of Armand's Dillegance with blasters charged and ready to go.
Elbryon started for the 3000 mark, when suddenly a blip apeared on the radar, we all turned to the source, only to find out it was not a CLM operative, but Mugen, who had left our guild just days before.
Rumors abound that he had been a traitor and joined SAF, which was now proven by the small acronym on the front of his ship, but what was SAF doing here, if not to cheeply kill noobs?
(Sector) Mugen: You have somthing we want, ITAN.
(Sector) Otto Lambergen: Hmm really? I mean, it's just you!
(Sector) Elbryon: Yea!
(Sector) Slime73:n00b cake.
(Sector) Mugen: Oh really? What about this?
(Sector) Mad_Max: Weak Itani's!
(Sector) yoda of borg: noobs!
This looks like it might be a bit tougher getting out of itani space than we expected.

I awoke to someone making an awe full racket down the hall, It was Space Cowboy, he was pounding on the door to my council quarters. I shouted to him that I was down the hall a bit. Immediatley he asked why I was in regular quarters. I told him not to worry about it, in truth I was simply too lazy to move out of my old place so me and TheBlackFlag use my council quarters as a nearby storage area. Cowboy then informed me he seen a whole pile of SAF guys headed into Itani space, lead by Yoda, former commander of CLM, now leader of SAF. I sighed, "This can't be good, we've got to get our ass over there asap. You go get our rigs ready, I'll send word to the rest of the guild". I hurriedly dropped Mystic a message asking what Yoda and his crew were doing going after the globe, and how did he even know ITAN found it? I hopped in my Atlas X, Sunflare and Plasma devastator already armed and boosted out of dock uncleared for launch, pushing the ship in my way, a partially loaded Centaur, out into space, oops. I set course for Armand's Diligence and awaited Mystic's response hoping SAF was going to help CLM recover the globe, not steal it for them selfs...

bean woke up to the sound of the high pitched wail of his comm alerting him to an urgent message from CO Iry.
"Bean!, elbryon has something that could be really important. get over to high command for a council meeting immediately!," yelled Iry.
"ok im coming, just what is this thing elbryon has?" said bean.
"we aren't exacly sure yet but from what we've heard it sounds like he's found clm's lost map"
bean gasped. He had heard of the treasure that the map led to. the stories had been passed down through the generations by old pilots in bars across the galaxy.
"what were the chances that elbryon had actually found the legendary map?" he thought to himself.
"ok ill be there as fast as possible, if anything comes up you know how to reach me,"
"now dont fall asleep at the controls again, i dont wanna hear that you've crashed into the back wall of the dock again ok? it took weeks to fix it last time," said Iry.
"ok, whatever"
Bean checked his centurions systems for a minute before whirling it around as fast as it would, then pushed the ships turbo boost to the limit as he engaged the autopilot to take him to command.
"ive got time for a short nap," he said watching the buttons on his control panel flick on and off as he reclined in his seat. suddenly he felt very sleepy.
"iry doesnt know what hes talking about," he said "I only crashed into the wall of the dock that one time,"
the last thing he saw before falling asleep was the words"ERROR DETECTED IN DOCKING SEQUENCE" in bright red words on his ships monitor.

This map thing seemed to have everyone nuts, look had sent her a urgent message about yoda and SAF being seen in the vicinity of Itani territory. She opened the comm channel to the guild “Ok guys, no worries about yoda or SAF. I talked to yoda earlier and he knows what is going on. Of course SAF will take any opportunity to shoot itanis, so don't panic.”
After she closed off the communication Mystic went back to her research on the globe. “So close to having it, if that blasted itani hadn't found it.” At least she could find comfort in the fact that the information was encrypted, and CLM held the key. That wouldn't stop ITAN from trying, but they are going to have a hard time getting to Sedina, with CLM and the serco keeping watch. The sphere would be back where it belonged before long. No matter what steps she had to take...
Still deep in thought, she was startled when her private comm sounded. It was yoda, “Hey how are things?”
“Not too bad, looking for some itani to kill as usual..he he”
“Good to hear, if you happen to kill one that is carrying a certain sphere...”
“The sphere will go back to where it belongs Mystic, you have helped SAF too much for us to try anything under-handed.”
“I appreciate that, I have been going through the information on it again, we get our hands on it and we should be able to decipher enough to get a good lead on where the goodies are stored.”
“What about ITAN? Think they know enough to be a real problem?”
“No, at least not yet, but we need to get that sphere back before someone accidentally finds something”
“Roger, will shoot every itani we see just in case”
“Aye, CLM is hunting ITAN now, they were on our list before, but with this they have just moved to the top”
They signed off after a few more minutes, and Mystic decided it was time for her to get in on the hunt. She equipped her weapons and headed down to her ship. This was important, but was going to be a good adventure as well. Too bad Borby wasn't around, this would be just up his alley, Tumble's too. She really had to do something to get these guys back where they belong. Things were about to get really exciting.

Foo Fighter sipped an iced frappuccino and reflected as he jetted from Coranis Watch.
After a long and hard week of travels, adventures and dogfighting, he'd stopped by to see an old friend in Grey Space. Soontir would have been a good mentor, had he not retired many years ago, a hero of the order of Akan. Although in the twilight of his years, his wit was as sharp as ever, and he still won the game of Wei-Chi they played as they had chatted. Soontir had been aware of the loss of the globe-shaped map by the old commander of CLM, but it had been well and truly lost in the depths of space. The meeting had been very enlightening for Foo Fighter, however, as there were plenty of things Soontir had known, seen or heard in his time ...
Foo Fighter decided to set a different course: he had to consult some elders who knew about the art of cryptography. Besides, the globe/map mystery was merely starting in Sedina, it would continue to other destinations.
Foo buzzed iry whilst in itani space, and arranged to meet his commander to brief him. After sharing a few beers in Coranis Watch with iry and Elbyron, Foo Fighter set off on his mission; with radio silence. He would be flying under the radar for the next 10 days ...

bean arrived in the council chambers late and out of breath. he had slept too long and scraped a huge line in the hull of a behemoth on the way into the dock and was stuck arguing with the owner for 20 minutes. not saying anything to iry he sat down and started the meeting.
"so," said bean."is it the map or not?"
"it definitely is, weve had our scientists check it out and theres no doubt about it," said omega 0.
"ok, so Elbryon, what are we supposed to do with it?" said bean.
"well I suppose right now we ust take it to sedina," said elbryon.
"and how are we gonna do that?"said arlina.
"ok, heres the plan"
bean leaned in closer to listen...

Incoming transmision from MysticRogue...
"Hey, now that was not nice! I know I asked you to kill Itani pilots for me, but that one has not even passed his basic combat test!". Heh heh heh I thought, Mystic thought I killed him for her. My reply was short, but sweet "He was in Bractus..." but I felt the need to continue after several moments of silence "...He may have had cargo I wanted, you never know what these Itani bastards will try next!".
Her reply was a simple "Yeah, I know, but that was not really needed, what if he decides to stay planet side now?" I had a lot on my mind at the time, and to be honest, she had too. We have a common enemy right now, but I am not sure if our goal is the same, so I kept my reply simple "If that is the case, it is another enemy eliminated, they never last long, planet side."
MysticRogue cut transmission at this point, I did wonder why she never asked me about 'the map' that she was so interested in.

Space Cowboy tipped his wide brimmed hat at the friendly Itani military forces flying information around Jallik Watch. He thought to himself for a moment how it was rather ironic that the Itani government was unknowingly financing CLM’s effort regain their lost property. Cowboy was not interested in this Itani - Serco conflict, only the profit gained by being on good terms with them and access to their weapons of war. Gunning his turbo on his newly procured X-1, Cowboy headed to the wormhole to Edras. He was now more then properly equipped to chase down Elbryon and his compatriots. As the blue ripples of the wormhole became visible in front of him, Cowboy thought of an old saying. One that he was going to teach the pilots of Itan. Never come between a pirate and his treasure…
After ending her conversation with yoda a little more than frustrated, she adored him but sometimes strangling him was more appealing, Mystic went back to the data disks she had on the past officers. Ten minutes later had her wondering how she could have been so naive. While not the commander that originally founded CLM, yoda was however in the organization at the time the sphere was lost. She knew why he hadn't volunteered this information, he was one of the ones that taught her to never volunteer more than you had to. “Time to have a drink with an old friend” she said to the walls.
It took Mystic another 20 minutes to finally reach yoda, she could just imagine him sitting there smiling at the comm before he answered. “Took ye long enough” was his greeting.
“Ok so sometimes I'm not the sharpest, but you could have shared your information darlin'.”
“What and ruin the enjoyment of watching you squirm? Where would the fun be in that?”
“So let me buy you a drink and we can discuss things, because I'm sure your going to make me work for the info” she laughed.
“Well how bout that little backwater place of yours in Pelatus? Would be safer than some bar and I'm not far away.”
“The fact that you will be close enough to blast some itani wouldn't have anything to do with it would it?”
“he he well you like blasting them to, I don't know why you insist on denying you have Serco blood”
“I never denied it, I'm proud of my mixed up heritage...but thats beside the point, I will meet you in Pelatus in less than an hour.”
Signing off, Mystic was in a hurry to get to this meeting, talking with yoda was almost always informative, but she suspected this one would prove to be lucrative as well. Twenty minutes later she was in her ship with a course plotted to Pelatus.

...SAF this deep in Itan does not bode well for a safe flight for me, even in my home space...
Thankfully I was already at distance and was able to hit the jump without being fired on. As i cleared the worm hole on the other side I half expected to hear the chirp of my proximity warning but it never came.
<guild>Elbryon-hey where'd they go?
<guild>Otto Lambergen-they aren't following but we will watch them and make sure
<guild>Foo Fighter-we will meet you in Coranis watch with the rest of the guild in a short time
<guild>Elbryon-sounds good to me
Apparently, as luck would have it, SAF wasn't yet interested in me or my cargo. Maybe they were just makeing sure I was going the way they wanted me too. The thought of that sent shivers down my back, but for now I was clear and double timeing it to Divinia where more of the guild awaited.
I finally made the Divinia worm hole and hit the jump...
**BEEP,BEEP***
Whew! it was just iry and MR. Bean.
<guild>iry-we're here to make sure you make it to dock friend just follow us
It felt good to be in the company of such good pilots in these times.
We spent the next several hours discussing what the next plan of action should be. The only thing that we really decided on was that I get to keep the orb, yea!
Foo Fighter was going to go underground and check with some of his contacts to see what he could find out.
Iry and MR. Bean were going to continue with the xith wars because it would keep them in the general area of where I would be in case I needed their help. We all undocked at the same time and headed on our own ways.
My plan was simple, make it to Jallik Watch safely and into grey space without loseing the orb.....easier said than done.
Sitting at the bar in Jallik Watch I had finally purchased myself a small space in a Behemoth Heavy on its way to Edras Command. I figured that this would be the safest way to get past CLM's blockade at the Edras worm hole without risking the loss of the globe. The Tungusta Mining station was where I hoped to hide for a couple days until I could get my head back in the game.
I settled down, as comfortably as I could, in the small space they left me in the cargo hold and got ready for a long trip. The Itani convoy cleared the worm hole with no problem, maybe this wouldn't be so bad. Man was I wrong!
As soon as the whole convoy oriented itself to make distance the atlas in the back exploded, I wish I could see what was happening, all I could hear was broken transmissions comeing from in the cockpit. It was CLM and they werent letting any Itani out of Jallik.
look...no hands was blowing up any and all itani that happened to come into the sector. On the bright side, however, I was in the lead moth and he had 7 other cargo ships to go through before he got to mine.
Luckily he never made it as my heavy reached distance and warped to G-11. The heavy docked and I imediately disembarked.
Hopefully look...no hands wasn't close enough to detect where I jumped too, I needed as much rest as I could get over the next couple of days. That small trip into grey space was the worst single worm hole jump I had made and there were 4 other systems to go before I made it to Sedina.
I hit the rack, my head spinning, trying to come up with an idea of what I was going to do next.
*I made it this far YEA! now I have to find a way to get to Sedina DOUBLE YEA!!

RentaGhost had a plan … It wasn’t a particularly brilliant plan, but it was a plan, and could help reduce the pressure on Elbryon.
It was little known that RentaGhost, under another name was a renowned Artist focusing on Sculpturing, all achieved before finding his true calling in the seat of a fighter.
RentaGhost transferred the holo images taken of the Map to his workshop wall terminal, and punched up detailed images on the giant screen, and set to work with a frenzy.
52 hours and 23 mins later RentaGhost collapsed into his favourite chair and admired his work. It was brilliant , an exact copy even down to the added aging and rust, well it wasn’t an exact copy, he had purposefully changed a marking or two and mixed two other markings with each other, but he was positive that even the original pirate wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
RentaGhost went about contacting Elbryon, but via a very indirect route, bouncing the signal from several different stations till finally reaching Elbryon .
“Hey Elb, how you holding up ?”
“Hi RG, well I’m safe for the mo, nearly lost it just getting here, look…no hands was killing everything in sight.”
“Well I hope this will cheer you up a little then, I have another Globe …”
“You What !!”
“Heh , I made another Globe, its an exact replica, apart from a few miner changes. I’m going to “Leak” a message out, saying that in fact I have the Globe not you, and that I will be transporting it out in secret to Sedina, and when CLM show up I’ll try and give them the slip for as long as possible until I die, then they have the fake Globe.”
“That’s brilliant !! It’ll take the pressure off me, and give them a duff map to follow, I love it !! “
Sounds of giggling and dancing came through the comms, as the stresses Elbryon had been under were able to bubble free.
“So when can you get started ?, I’m afraid to move around to much on this station, in case I’m spotted.”
“I’ll get right on it Elb, don’t worry, you just get some rest, and I’ll see you soon, good luck !.”
“You too !”
RentaGhost ended the transmission, and immediately began the bogus “Leaked” message, sending it out on the Itani nation channel.
“Well I guess it’s now or never …. “ He said out loud.
He headed over to the dock with the fake Globe in an old rucksack, and jumped into his IBG, and turboed out the bay, setting the destination for Daltas Hold in Sedina, hoping he would manage to at least get out of Itani space before being attacked…
