Itan is hosting the first EVER S4 race competition, that is suspiciously kind of like the other race that the good Dr. just announced, almost as though I read it and was inspired. Sorry if they're TOO similar, if so I'd be willing to cancel mine Docta.

ANYWAY

The event!

Up to 12 people may enter. First come, first serve, although you may sign up after we have 12 in case someone drops out.

Players will meet in the sector of a race track (one of the sedina ones) yet to be determined, in whatever ships they want. Participants will be then given 3 samo. The goal is to get through the race track as fast as possible, with as much samo as possible.

SUMMARIZED AND NOT YET SPECIFIED RULES:
- Any ship
- ONLY ENERGY WEAPONS. No rockets, no mines, no missles
- Once killed, you may NOT return to the competition
- No one is allowed in the track during the event, except the participants
- No shooting of participants before they begin racing or after they finish
- Payment works as follows.
* There will be a central bank of all the prize money, composed of 5 million credits donated by Itan, 5 million credits donated by tumblemonster charities,and any money donated by others (which just makes the competition more fun!)
* The first person to exit the track can turn in their samo
* 1/40th of the total prize money will be awarded for each piece of samo someone has
* 1/40th of the total prize money will be given to whoever gets the most kills inside the track
* 1/40th of the total prize money will be given to whoever has the best time
* 1/40th of the total prize money will be given to whoever has the most samo
* 1/40th of the total prize money will be given to whoever has the best Samo/Time ratio
* ANY EXCESS MONEY WILL BE RETURNED, IN THE SAME RATIO AS IT WAS DONATED, TO DONATORS (IE, if you donate 5 mil and Exxor donates 1 mil, and not all is used as some samo was not returned, Itan gets 5/11ths of the remaining money, you get 5/11ths, and Exxor get's 1/11th)

Now THAT is highly unecessary... a valk with 2u of samo is UNFLYABLE, and a rune with 3... hahah, it'd be a paper target drifting into tube walls like a ****ing pinball.

Only a Ragnarok, Moth, Taur or Prom would have a decent chance

Are bullets that require energy considered energy weapons? (loads rail gun)

Are non-participants allowed to shoot participants during the race if they remain outside the tube? (charges l-mines)

Can we bring our own samo? (40/40 of the prize money!)

It's the 1st of July, so only one other event is planned so far (Deneb run) and they don't overlap
