NPC Capship Docking Limits
These docking limits (amount of ships that can be docked) on NPC capships is ridiculous. Only one person can fit in a trident. This should be more. This has been being abused by someone sitting in the trident for entire deneb matches allowing noone to repair/reload.
Heavy cons and such: Have all these turrets but only one person can use them?
Please raise or remove these limits.

Heh... sounds like an effective Deneb strategy.
But yeah, of course.. +20000.

We have been asking for this ever since the devs made ships take up cargo space. There's been at least 3 threads about it. :(
+1. Make NPC ships on par with player ships. And then when filling convoy capships, leave at least 250 cu free so that the escorting player(s) can dock to repair and reload.
Convoy capships only get a few hundred CU anyway (400? 600?). I don't see why they aren't on par with player cappies; might make them worth taking down. +1 OP as well.
Yeah, I killed one the other day and was able to grab ALL of its cargo even though I had 400cu of ships in my hold already. They seriously need a cargo buff.
Interesting. Buffing their cargo space would probably be easy, making them a 1:1 vs Player Tridents. Of course, then the amount of cargo dropped by convoys might get a little intense. Or, it might impact the actual usage and number of convoys in the universe, since convoys are actually created on the basis of "need" to move units of cargo from A to B, so if there are a few tridents with a lot of space, they might basically forgo the need for any other convoys, heh. Might require tweaking the convoys themselves at that point, and the whole "shadow economy" that runs them.
I vote for messing up the escort system in exchange for allowing more people to dock in NPC tridents.
Actually for most of the trident voys flying around you can't even dock. (non deneb) Can't recall why they did this, but I prefer the old way.
I'd like to suggest that, at least for Deneb, make the NPC capital ships have a 1:1 ratio concerning players and turrets. i.e. if a HAC has 32 turrets(?) it should be able to hold one player for every turret. Currently, HAC's can only hold something like 3 players before they are "full" even though they are obviously designed for much larger player interaction.

It's because they're full of cargo, vskye, and docking now requires enough space in the cargo hold for your ship's item-size. That's why I made the request about convoy tridents leaving some empty space instead of filling all the way up with cargo.

+1 to this, especially in Deneb conflicts.
Never could understand why we just don't have 2 different kinds of hold space: Cargo and Dock. That way ships DO hold space, but cargo won't affect the number of people who can dock and vice versa.
Remember those docking bay assemblies you all made for your tridents? Ya me neither.
cos pirates were dockin' into NPC and made it killed by turrets or used 'em to pass the turrets to shoot newbs in nation space and some traders / carebears complained 'bout dis.
I understand why Inc made ships take up cargo. It makes no sense for 4 Behemoth XCs to fit inside a Trident, but applying that same change to MUCH larger ships like the Constellation and HAC makes no sense. Those things are huge. Bigger than most stations even.
*6 XCs
Once upon a time, it was only 4.
It's okay/understandable if 4 moths can't fit, but if at least 2 vultures/centurions/rags/valks/proms/hogs can't fit inside a Trident, especially during Border Skirmishes to rearm/repair, then it's a lil absurd I feel.
