Make a Pandora port!
Ok, so what is a Pandora... http://openpandora.org/blog.php
I used to run VO on about 64mb of ram, and of course this was years ago!
Well, I'm drunk. But I think you qualify as an *indie company*. Maybe you guys could make something else for it too!

I WANT ONE!
That would be kickass...
Would give me a reason to buy a Pandora, other then the extreme geek factor of it...

It's not infeasible, the game would probably run on it. A port would require interface changes to use 800x480, much like the EeePC (no chat area in stations). The performance would probably be enough to fly around, mine and trade, but any busy sector or particularly intensive station might make for really tough flying. Border Skirmish would probably be a totally unplayable slideshow, that might get into "seconds per frame" rather than the usual fps.
Anyway, doing a port is a lot of resources, maintaining a port is a whole lot of annoyance, and the system requirements of our game are only going to go up (as we add more content, etc). I understand that this is a kind of half-hearted drunken request, but I'm responding anyway.. it's not impossible, but probably not that likely unless Pandora totally sets the world on fire. Cool project though, I hope it does well.
What might be more likely is a different kind of "game interface" application, that might let people remotely manage owned stations, defenses and automated trade routes / manufacturing and stuff, whenever we have all of that. We've long considered having more "lightweight" type apps to let you access that kind of data from a mobile phone or whatever.

I'm actually going to try getting VO running on my XO-1 this weekend... wonder how well that'll work.
That's really pretty GPU dependent.
Well, I'm not expecting any real results... it's just to see if I can do it. Wouldn't dream of actually trying to play seriously with it, though spidey's success with his eeePC does make me curious enough to consider trying to pop a few oruns...
Heh i logged at least 500 Pks with my eee playing at 800x600 on doze
BS is playable... no not really
it still runs better than slimes Imac :P
