Cosmetic suggestion:

Some stations, like the itan and serco capitals are orbiting planets, but I do feel like the planets are way to far from the station. Those planets should fill up your entire screen when you look at them. Even Kraz in Odia is not close enough to get that orbit effect.

Well, if you were THAT close to them, you'd be minutes away from getting to their surface, which is not... desirable at the moment, I guess.

Well technically, the planets should also be in orbit, as well as the station, so the position of the station on the map should continually change, and when your in the sector, the station should be moving at 150 m/s (this is just a completely made-up estimate btw).

i kinda' like the planets being far away. if they looked closer we'd have to deal with more requests to land on them.

I agree with ArAsH on this. The capitals both look like any other station, it'd be neato if the stations actually look like they're associated with the planets they're orbiting (I'm not suggesting that the planet take up 1/2 the background, just a bit bigger than they are now).

I dare say the supposed increase for requests for planet landings could be handled (if they increase at all).

No.... just give the damn things atomosphere effects, and actual shaodows of black rather than a opacity change. This should be fairly easy to implement, however the Vendetta engine is not something I would wanna deel into right now... in other words... Incarnate you figure it out ^^

there are s7 planets all over, but they arent the same as the ol' one. :(

the s7 planet looked the coolest, I havent come across a sector yet that has the planet arranged like that. I think one of the odia stations has a huge planet but I dont frequent Odia too often so i can't recall
